weight loss goal met - yabba dabba dooooooooo PDF Print E-mail

215.5 this morning!  Couldn't wait to get to 216 and I sailed right over it! (but stand by - it could show back up tomorrow morning!) So I earn one glorious hefty pen in a luscious color to be named upon purchase and a pair of slinky free form silver earrings that will blossom from my ears and radiate success!

I need to remember this pattern the next time I hit a plateau - and I'm sure there are more of them looming in my future. But I need to remember that ocassionally my body stops losing - either it's readjusting to the new weight or holding on for dear life to the fat in me in case of drought or famine - or it just plain likes the number it's at. But if I hold on and follow my plan and stick with it every day all day, the pounds will start to drop again like they did this morning! 51.5 pounds gone. 50.5 to go. I simply have to do what I've already done. And along the way I'll have to up my exercise every once in a while and review what I eat to make sure I'm  getting plenty of protein and fruits and veggies and complex carbs.

I'm proud of me today. Proud of the choices I've been making. Proud of my perserverance. Proud of my size 16 jeans.

Gotta go shop for my rewards!
