207 is going down PDF Print E-mail

I am focusing all my positive energy on the number 207 because I wish it would go away forever more. Death to 207. I have a feeling tomorrow is the day. I will see 206 tomorrow. And if I don't, well then, dammit, I'll just keep going until I do.
Small tragedy today. I got my single rowing shell down last week so that I could get it all cleaned up and ready to go. I set it upside down on the deck thinking that there might still be winds and that it would be safest there. And there were winds - gale force winds - gusts of more than 50 miles per hour and my poor baby got tossed around and the small shield that deflects waves smashed. It won't hurt the operation of the boat - it just looks unadorned and missing a piece. So I'll try to order one on line. Funny - I'm waiting to get to the weight limit of 205 to use the boat (and waiting for a little warmth here in upstate NY) and my boat got hurt during the waiting. I think she's tired of 207, too. So while I search for a wind shielf for my boat, I'm putting up my own deflector shields in search of ONEderland.
Elusive ONEderland.
