What a night on the Biggest Loser last night. Through almost a comedy of sad errors, Jason - the unofficial mayor and major cheerleader of the house - went home. He went out with style asking to be sent home instead of Courtney who he felt really needed to stay. And then when he got home he came up with this super cool idea of printing t-shirts and then dropping them off at his overweight friends' houses to in effect 'call them out' to come and exercise with him. So cool. Because of course this whole process works better when you couple up with a good friend. And the friends he called out weren't insulted, they were thrilled to be included. And maybe relieved that someone came and got them and insisted that they start taking care of themselves. The best part of the night - well, two in fact - were statements made first by Jillian and then by Jason. Roulan was talking to Jillian about why he got heavy after being an olympic champion and he indicated that it had to do with not feeling worthy of all of the attention and accolades. That he didn't feel he deserved it. Somewhere in that conversation she said, "Stop making it about who you weren't." In other words, be who your are today. And then Jason followed that by saying, "I feel an inner strength I've never felt before. When you can admit you're someone special, that's awesome." Putting the two together - living now in this very moment with 100% of yourself because you are special and worthy. Think I'll go look in the mirror now and give myself a compliment!
