Where I live in upstate New York there are massive defficiencies in Vitamin D. Every time anybody goes to see their doc, he/she says "You need more Vitamin D!" Not so today - blue skies and sunshine all day long. And this was just a hint of what we have in store for the weeks to come. When you live in an area with an average of 55 sunny days a year, you learn to jump outside at the first sign of sun. I have a convertible, and I'm one of those strange people who puts the top down on any day over 50 degrees. Turn the heat on, put a hat on , and put the top down. Let that sun soak in. When the sun does shine like this, I start thinking about all of the things I'll be able to do this spring/summer/fall - after a very long hard winter - including: biking, kayaking, sculling, swimming, walking, and time tending to my garden. And with less of me to carry around - I'll be able to do all of those things better than ever! Similar Posts |
