Spent four days away at a conference. did well with food as all of the meals were planned and no tine on my own - so although I made good decisions, I didn't really have a challenging opportunity to make bad ones. Two friends and I are going to weigh in on Friday, create an eating/exercise plan and report in to each other every Friday. I love the accountability of that. Even though, of course, they won't say horrible things to me, just the knowlege that I have to check in will help me follow my plan. My buddies don't have eating disorders - just a few extra pounds to lose.
Added weight takes such a toll on our bodies. Achey joints, swollen ankles, defeated self esteem, limited mobility - the pounds keep us from exercising and not exercising allows more pounds to pile on. Losing them is a win/win/win/win/win.
